Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze (/mɪː/ /oˈju̽zʊ/ [good; fabulous; honest; competent; hot (attractive); nice; sincere] [drawing]) is a subtropical Town located in Z̄ububuz̄udenuku Zone, Chyûyu̽ Lu̹sû Empire, within the Warrenese Shogunate.

The name Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze is derived from the Wareneese language, as Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze was founded by Mlîm Glëkê, who was culturaly Wareneese.

Overview

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1161, by Mlîm Glëkê. The establishment of Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Mlîm Glëkê struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze as a prison colony.

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of spacious cobblestone streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks and fences to provide minimal protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. The somewhat suffishent has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to place their homes. Yet there are small elements here and there which show the underlying structure of the community. It’s just so complex, organic, and flowing one can only understand what is a piece of the puzzle, but not what its neighbors are.

Civic Infrastructure

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze's parks.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

Due to the actions of local Kami, autumn is skipped in Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze.

The Hoar Spirit near Lûhæru Oyu̽zû Mîze are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.
